The originalBroadwayproduction of Miss Saigon opened at the at the Broadway Theatre in New York on 11 April 1991 with much of the original production team from the West End. A few of the West End cast also reprised their roles including leads Lea Salonga and Jonathan Pryce. It closed on 28 January 2001 after 4,092 performances.
